Ethiopian Meat Exports to Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is one of the world's largest importers of Halal meat, consuming over 1.2 million tonnes annually. Ethiopia — with 65+ million cattle, 40+ million sheep, and 50+ million goats — is one of Africa's largest livestock producers and a natural supplier to the Saudi market.
Horn Gate Trading has established direct supply relationships with EMDIDI-approved abattoirs and cold storage facilities across Ethiopia. We manage the entire export chain: farm sourcing, Halal slaughter, processing, packaging, documentation, and reefer container shipping to Jeddah Islamic Port and Dammam King Abdul Aziz Port.
All products are processed under strict Halal supervision and comply with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) import requirements. We provide a complete documentation package with every shipment.
