Ethiopian Meat Exports to Qatar

Qatar's growing population and high per-capita income make it one of the Gulf's most attractive markets for premium Halal meat. Ethiopian meat — naturally grass-fed, lean, and flavourful — is well-suited to Qatari consumer preferences for quality Halal products.

Horn Gate Trading sources livestock from Ethiopia's highland regions and processes meat at EMDIDI-approved, HACCP-certified abattoirs in Addis Ababa. Every shipment is Halal certified, cold-chain maintained, and fully documented for Qatar National Food Safety Programme (QNFSP) compliance.

We supply Qatari importers, supermarket chains, food service distributors, and hotel groups with consistent, high-quality Ethiopian beef, lamb, goat, and camel meat — delivered directly to Hamad Port, Doha.

IQF — Individually Quick Frozen

Pieces frozen individually at −35°C in a blast tunnel. Each piece remains separate — no block-freezing. Ideal for portion-controlled food service, hotel kitchens, and retail packs. Superior texture vs. block-frozen product.

Whole Carcass

Halal-slaughtered carcasses supplied whole, halved, or quartered. Suitable for buyers who prefer to cut in-country. Packed in food-grade poly bags inside wax-coated master cartons.

Custom Cuts

We work with buyers to specify exact cut weights, trim levels, and portion sizes. Minimum 1 FCL for custom cut programmes. Arabic labelling, private-label packaging, and retail-ready formats available.
